What to expect on a half- or full-day excursion :
Half-day :

Equipment required :
>Hat, gloves, sunglasses (with UV protection for high altitudes)
>Weatherproof anorak
>Weatherproof trousers
>Weatherproof hiking boots (boots must provide ankle support, so no moonboots or apres-ski boots)
>Mountain legwarmers to protect you from the snow
>An extra pair of socks
>A full canteen
>Sunscreen
